Terms of Service

Draft. The operator of this service is not yet registered, so this document does not name a legal entity, a postal address or a governing jurisdiction. Everything it says about how the software handles data is accurate and derived from the running system.

What Fovee is

Fovee is a tool for managing Instagram professional accounts through Instagram's official API. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Meta Platforms. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.

What you need

Your content is yours

You keep every right to the media you upload and the posts you publish. Fovee stores them only to provide the service, and claims no licence to use them for anything else.

What you may not do

Instagram's own terms apply to everything you do through Fovee. Where the two differ, Instagram's are the ones that can suspend your account.

What Fovee depends on

Fovee is a client for an API operated by Meta. When Instagram changes that API, restricts a permission, rate-limits a request or is unavailable, the affected features stop working, and that is outside our control. In particular:

Availability

Fovee is provided as it is, without a guaranteed level of availability. No uptime commitment, backup guarantee or support response time is offered, because none is in place. This will be written differently if and when that changes.

Ending your use

You may disconnect an Instagram account or delete your Fovee account at any time. Deleting your account removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy, and cannot be undone.

We may suspend an account being used in breach of these terms or of Instagram's, where continuing would put other users or the service's API access at risk.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Fovee is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost reach, lost followers, or action taken by Instagram against an account.

Changes

These terms may change as the service does. The date at the top reflects the last change, and material changes will be communicated before they take effect.

Governing law and contact

The operating entity and governing jurisdiction will be named here once registration is complete. Until then these terms are published as a draft.
